Information concerning the indexing of pictures

At the behest of a number of museums we have created our own technical specifications for the picture library.

The specifications that lie behind culture- images' search engine have been developed specifically for photo galleries. All search entries refer back to key words embedded in the complete text associated to a particular picture.

 

This does not replace any standard indexing system that may have been developed by museums for their own catalogues.
